Tuesday, March 22, 2005 One Vote at a Time Ivan's Diary at Daily Kos tells the interesting story of constituents' efforts to pursuade moderate Democrat Adam Smith (D-WA) to withdraw his baffling support for the Bankruptcy Bill. Unlike the "Drinking Liberally" events hosted elsewhere, Al has opted for a wide cross-section of political opinion and blogging interests, something we here at EA heartily approve of. Among the invitees are Dave (Orcinus) Neiwert, high-tech columnist Paul Andrews, Bird Dog of the highly-readable and mostly-sane right-leaning Tacitus, and Stefan Sharkansky of Sound Politics, a straight-up right-wing bomb-thrower.
